Jumpstart

Jumpstart is a national early education organization that recruits and trains college students and community Corps members to serve preschool children in low-income neighborhoods. Our proven curriculum helps children develop the language and literacy skills they need to be ready for school, setting them on a path to close the achievement gap before it is too late.

Story Pirates

Story Pirates is a nationally respected education and media organization founded in 2003 to celebrate the words and ideas of young people. By pairing world-class teachers with first-rate actors and comedians, we offer a variety of tools to make learning more engaging and effective. Dually based in New York and Los Angeles, we are best known for the Idea Storm Program, a master-class writing workshop that brings teaching concepts to life, followed by a musical sketch comedy show featuring stories by students and performed by professional artists.

Games for Change

Founded in 2004, Games for Change facilitates the creation and distribution of social impact games that serve as critical tools in humanitarian and educational efforts. Unlike the commercial gaming industry, we aim to leverage entertainment and engagement for social good. To further grow the field, Games for Change convenes multiple stakeholders, highlights best practices, incubates games, and helps create and direct investment into new projects.

Prince's Trust

The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps change young lives. We give practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills such as confidence and motivation. We work with 13 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law.

Hall Pass Tour

The Hall Pass Tour is a series of high energy, after-school music concerts for grades K-12 designed to help kids from underserved schools and communities get excited about leveraging higher learning to achieve their dreams.

Code Club

Code Club is a not-for-profit that believes all children should have the opportunity to learn to code, no matter who they are or where they come from. To do this, Code Club supports a network of volunteer-led, after-school coding clubs, which aim to inspire children aged 9-11 to build and share their ideas, learning along the way. Code Club currently has over 1000 clubs in over 75 countries, and our club projects have been translated in 15 languages.

The School of Life

The School of Life is devoted to developing emotional intelligence through the help of culture. We address such issues as how to find fulfilling work, how to master the art of relationships, how to understand one’s past, how to achieve calm and how better to understand, and where necessary change, the world.

Dabble

Dabble is a marketplace for $20 classes. Inspired by the notion that learning and exploring one's interests should be easy (and fun!), Dabble provides a low-commitment way for people to expand their horizons. Anyone is invited to teach. Classes range from culinary to art to business and everything in between. All classes are held in person, providing a great way to meet new people.

100 People Foundation

The 100 People Foundation helps students to better understand the complex issues facing our planet and the resources we share. By framing the global population as 100 people, our media makes education more engaging and effective, and improves students' abilities to remember and relate to what they learn.

Memrise.com is an online learning platform that helps you learn almost any language through play.
Memrise embeds knowledge in people's minds quicker, more intuitively and with more lasting effect than any other learning tool. Our software combines ancient memory techniques with the latest cognitive and computer science.

Enstitute

Enstitute, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is implementing a new low-cost model of higher education. With an apprenticeship-based “Learn by Doing” approach that pairs students with their interests, Enstitute is turning startups and small businesses into classrooms. Garhwal English Medium School

GEMS is a charitable school located in the Indian Himalaya. We educate over 200 students who come from over 25 villages in the area. These children would not have access to quality education if it were not for our school. We invite volunteers from around the world to come and teach in our school, and share their knowledge and skills with our children. We are in the business of providing children with skills and opportunities so they will have more choices in their lives and hopefully be able to rise out of poverty.
