Love is Art

Simply put, LOVE IS ART is a kit that comes with everything a couple needs to safely make a tangible piece of abstract expressionistic art while being intimate with each other. What is left is a one-of-a-kind abstract painting that represents that special moment, that can then be stretched, framed and hung on the wall -- a reminder of the love that was shared.  The kit also provides a unique bonding experience for the couples involved, as they work together as a team to craft their own unique masterpeice. 

The Crafts Council

The Crafts Council is the national development agency for contemporary craft in the UK. Our goal is to make the UK the best place to make, see, collect and learn about contemporary craft. Through our different departments and partnerships our work includes professional development programmes for makers, promoting craft education, innovative exhibitions and events and ongoing research, development and advocacy work in to the craft and wider arts sector.

Dreaming Tree Foundation's mission is to transform the lives of young people through encouraging, fostering, and actively involving them in the field of creative arts. Dreaming Tree Foundation (DTF) provides teens with hands-on experience in the creative field of filmmaking. Through various programs geared towards teens, DTF gives youth the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the filmmaking industry, while gaining skills they will need in the workforce, such as decision making, time management, critical thinking, and teamwork.

The Acoustic Guitar Project

The Acoustic Guitar Project was created to help musicians reconnect to the original moment that inspired them to be singer-songwriters. 
Musicians participating in The Acoustic Guitar Project are given one week to create an original song using only the guitar and recording device provided. There’s no editing on the computer, and they have to get it all in one live take.

Outer Urban Projects

Outer Urban Projects (OUP) is a bold not for profit performing arts organisation that collaborates with young people and their communities in Melbourne’s culturally diverse, artistically starved, ‘hardcore’ outer northern suburbs. OUP specialises in producing and presenting high calibre arts projects that seamlessly combine street, cultural, contemporary and classical forms. OUP is driven by the vibrant cultural mix and stories of the outer northern suburbs and the racial, social and class inequities that challenge our young people.

TED-Ed’s commitment to creating lessons worth sharing is an extension of TED’s mission of spreading great ideas. Within the growing TED-Ed video library, you will find carefully curated educational videos, many of which represent collaborations between talented educators and animators nominated through the TED-Ed platform. This platform also allows users to take any useful educational video, not just TED's, and easily create a customized lesson around the video. Users can distribute the lessons, publicly or privately, and track their impact on the world, a class, or an individual student.

Traces of Hope

Traces of Hope is an online game developed by the British Red Cross as part of Civilians and Conflict Month in October 2008. The personal story and basis for the game is rooted in tragic events that have happened to real people in any number of conflicts around the world.

Bicycle Portraits

Stan Engelbrecht & Nic Grobler are publishing the best 162 portraits and stories of the over 500 portraits of cyclists they’ve photographed during their 2 year journey around South Africa. Divided over 3 books, each will contain a different 54 stories, and also two essays each by local South African and major international cycling figures.
